The bride is the daughter of Roy and Naomi King of Caldwell. She is the granddaughter of Paul and Rosa King of Caldwell, Chilton and Chris Downey of Shreveport, La., and the late Marylyn Downey. She is the great-granddaughter of Rosa Clark of Caldwell. Honorary grandparents of the bride are Fred and Grace Schneeberger of Caldwell, and the Rev. Jimmy and Peggy Rogers of Byesville, Ohio.

The bridegroom is the son of Wayne and Cheryl McAlarney. He is the grandson of Holly and Ruth Handschumacher and Robert and Mildred McAlarney, all of Whipple. Honorary grandparent of the bridegroom is Jean Oliver of McConnelsville.
