January 2, 2013

Two years ago, Waverly, W.Va., resident Mindi Ford broke her arm. It barely fazed her. “I felt it snap, I heard it snap, and it didn’t hurt,” she said....

My wife suffered with RSD for over 10 years after having heal surgery. It moved from one leg to both legs then attacked over 70% of her body. On March 6th of 2012 she was healed by the hand of God. More research is needed for this awful disease.

RSD is a monster that can destroy a person's life if they don't have a support group and the inner strength to deal with the changes that can happen minute to minute. It is also known as The Suicide Disease. I have lost too many friends who just couldn't deal with the pain anymore. I just hope more people research this disease and remember the early warning signs. If it is caught within the first year and treated aggressively it could go into remission. If you don't catch it early you will be stuck with it for the rest of your life....and it only gets worse. I wouldn't wish this disease on my worst enemy. Gentle Hugs to all my fellow RSDers and chronic pain friends.
