As a student who learned a great deal from the cadavres at Washington State, under the leadership of Dan Miska,I am thankful for all of those who are generous enough to donate their body to science. The bodies are treated with respect and dignity. It is so much easier to learn anatomy visualizing the organs and muscles in front of you, rather than on the pages of a book or on the screen of a computer.

bettycrousser, if that body is the body of your neighbor, you should be proud of the fact. Research can save lives and how better can a person help others than that?
