I am so glad that land will not be turned into another housing development. Good luck to the Stacy's.

Everywhere I look beautiful fields are being turned into strip malls and cookie cutter housing projects. Thank heavens, some people have the good sense to know that we NEED farm land to remain agricultural. I hope the Stacy's will have great success and that their new venture will become a long-held family tradition.

Did I miss the part in the article that tells me how many acres were involved in the sale?

BeRight - look at the sign. Best of luck to the Stacy family. I among many other's have worked on their family farm as a teenager. They helped teach many youngsters what hard work is and to value the dollars they have earned.

So, it was not in the article. The picture did not open when I read the article earlier. Just saw the print edition. Clear as a bell . 92 acres. Good deal for farm land this close to town.
