Changing the parameters of the Liberal position (like we knew you would do) ALREADY, Irisheyes?

I just read the most succinctly expressed opinion (IMO) for unquestioned support of our 2nd amendment. It was expressed by R. L. Wilson in his book; Ruger & His Guns: A History of The Man, the Company and Their Firearms (Chartwell Books, 1996) pages 307 - 309, under the articles "On the Right to Own Firearms" and "Firearms Legislation".
Although the book is copyrighted 1996, those articles may as well have been written this morning, with our present 'political' atmosphere. PLEASE CHECK IT OUT.

LOOK OUT, SQUIRREL HUNTERS! There's still time for Biden to add those "assault" shotguns to THE LIST.
Merriam-Webster defines "assault" as; (a): a threat or attempt to inflict offensive physical contact or bodily harm on a person.
By THAT definition, what firearm would they single out as NOT being a "assault weapon" if they, in reality, wanted to take them all?

I wonder how this scenario would have turned out if the shooter had an assault rifle instead of a shotgun??
