Marietta police and Judge Lane do a great job...gotta change the laws in order to keep violators in jail. They are out on the street too soon.

If he admits that the drugs were for resale, chances are the buyers came to him. Therefore it is almost a certainly that the child was in the home when at least some of the dealing was being done. Now tell me again why the mother still has custody. And the law enforcement here usually does a heck of a good job, it's just too bad that there is so much pleas dealing going on from the prosecutor's office.

Thugs that move here to Marietta are just that they think it's a small town and the police are hicks and don't known anything. It's a huge surprise to them when they get caught but they really stand out in town it's not to hard to watch what their doing.

Why would they put children in jail and throw away the key?

I just feel bad for the children involved. They need to put them in jail and throw away the key.

I know about these two people ... They are both known drug dealers (among other things). The woman and her child re-located here (from the Akron area) and he moved in with her shortly after he was released from his last prison stint (he has been in and out of prison for years).

As usual, these two menaces to society will probably get off easy. You can bet your bottom dollar that as soon as they are free ... either together or apart ... they will be back to running their drug and prostitution rings and "doing business as usual."

To bad we don't have a law that would ban people like these from ever returning to Washington County!
