This is a yawner of a story. I wish the MT would look into why another deputy "suddenly" resigned last week. I hear Larry's relationship with his dad swept it under the rug.

one solution could be hot-racking inmates. split the day into 12 hour shifts. double your occupancy rather quickly and cheaply.

I think one open space with a dirt floor and sleeping bags and a couple of porta jons would be just fine.
If they earn their way, they could work up to a cot on a titled floor and porta-jons.
No tv's and lights out at 9:00.
Want to break the law, pay the price. Why coddle them; male or female.
