No one commented cause it's not controversial enough for the people who frequent here! Event's like this can be nothing but a good thing for Marietta. Well done Lafayette!

I'm sure they can be something other than a good thing for Marietta.

It's just as easy to believe they could be of no consequence to Marietta.

I'm a blues fan and have toured the vast majority of the Blues Trail in the south. I like the Blues. Not only did I not hear of this event this year at the Lafayette, I've never heard of it in the past, either. This is the first mention I've seen of it ever, and it's over already. Nobody else I talked to about it during the course of the day has heard of it either.

In this case, as far as I can see the end result is a no consequence.

In other news, the Lafayette is a fine, fine hotel with many wonderful little hidden treasures. It's too bad this one remained hidden for the majority.
