I also just have to express my disgust over Mr. Elliot's comment reducing education to nothing more than a benefit program. I say we go dig up the road in front of his house, and tell him his benefit program is over.

mattelliot are you andy t. in disguise. please tell me we will have arep who cares about us and our kids.

please tell us you will do something about local government money and you will fix school funding.

jennifer didn't do it; nancy did not do it; when will someone realize we need help in this area.

our schools are pitifully behind, there is not equal opportunity for all in ohio; yet you continue to criticize; please tell us you will do something.

Why are the law makers and the governor in jail? If school funding is unconstitutional; why are they permitted to continue with the unconstitutional ways?

FIX the darn thing already.

So, Ohio is still relying on the wait-and-see stratgey it has seemingly had since Bob Taft. Whiel you are waiting, I am pretty sure that the only thing you are going to see are more businesses leaving and more educated young people leaving too. The truth of teh matter is, they wil be headed to states with better infrastructurem even if that means more taxes. It's always been that way.

I like the part about lower taxes and taxing the oil/gas companies.

Kasich was elected to clean up the mess his predecessors left behind. IMO he is doing the best he can with what he has to work with. As for all you "don't cut my benefit' complainers, there are 49 other States you may find more to your liking.
