Your right about Tina Thomas the amount of money she wants to rent that horiable place. She owes me over $1500.00 from a job I did last year and had the nerve to try and get me to do more work on the same place inorder to get my money for the work I had already done. And don't try to lie about it, because I have every bit of it documented along with pic. O'yea' that's right, she can't afford it. So maybe I should give her a break after she has agreed to pay me in writing via e-mail, this was almost a year ago!!!!
The reason the 4seasons sits closed is because they want a kings ransom for a run down bar worth less than the real estate due to its reputation...I asked about purchasing but was told not for sale at 'any price' others I know we're interviewed for lease but were told minimum 10yr lease, 3k per month plus a % of sales??? That place will sit empty for sometime possibly until the state revokes the license due to inactivity
wps3417, you may wish to contact dunkin donuts directly. it appears that washington county is in "reserved" status and not open for new franchises. it would take a respectable investment to get one going. personally i do not think the financial demographics are there to fully support it unless you could locate within reasonable distance to the interstate. if you desire a "meatier" doughnut then dunkin is the way to go. but if you prefer the evaporate-when-hot in your mouth doughnut, then its gotta be krispy kreme. they are soooo addictive. both companies offer great coffee though.
@ Joebob1 I don't think the EPA has anything to do with the closing. If there was a problem with the underground tanks than they would have had to fix them .
Starting up any kind business is really hard it's a life changing event. I have opened up four of them over the years and it has changed me a great deal. It's not for everyone and nine out of ten people will fail at it but it's better to try and fail than not try at all.

The BP's problem was 2 fold. Horrible location for convenient access and a shiny new gas station across the street .

I can't wait to see what "the best possible choice" is for the Greene Street location.

Wonder if the EPA had anything to do with the closure of the BP? If so, it's going to take a lot more than good luck to get them up and running.
