It is by state law unconstitutional for schools to collect property taxes to fund schools. So why are Schools still aloud to put a levy on a ballot to do so . Someone needs to enforce that law and stop making tax payers pull up the slack of schools waste of money because of their out of control spending .

Stiffy, do you have our head so far in the dark that you didn't even read anything. You're hatred of Obama and love for anything R is AMAZING! Kasich said; "If you are poor, you're going to get more. If you are rich, you're going to get less."
Isn't that 100% against everything you whine about Obama and libs?
You're a joke of a joke!

I am glad to see there is finally something being done about the school funding issue. Of course it is not going to be perfect at first, but it HAS to be better than what has been going on... there will be complaints from districts losing money, of course, and there are other factors, such as land coverage of the rural districts that add to transportation costs. Finally, at least something is being done and there is open dialogue going on about the issue between districts and the state.
