Port Authority on the hunt for employers, jobs

Attracting new industry jobs to the area and helping develop skilled laborers to work those jobs will be the focus of the Southeastern Ohio Port Authority for 2013, according to members who gathered......

What does the Port Authority do for the area? Does this outfit answer to the feds, county, city?? I saw that the port authority was credited with the strike deal in oak grove. How? Were they responsible for MMH expansion and hotels being built? I thought our local leaders, the CVB, Chamber, and private capital did all of that work. Anyone know for sure?

It's good someone is hunting and yellowrose I'm sure if the Port Authority are on the hunt for (employers) for jobs they will hire local skilled labor too. Bring it on !

We have "skilled labor" already here......some who have lost their unemployment due to being out of work for YEARS
