Doesn't surprise me any that she got away with this so long. I think there are a lot of people around here ripping off social security disability too.
A good place to start investigating them is at Wal Mart. They're the ones who park in handicap spots, jump out of their cars, sprint into Wal Mart, then sit their big fat butts down on one of those electric scooters lol.

Usually people reap what they sow. In this case they reaped more than they had sown. I would think face to face visits at age 100 would be better. Had that been the case the government would have saved about $36,000 in 3 years.

She's 65, disabled, and has cancer. I seriously doubt she will be able to repay anything. Not defending her, just the reality.
As for the marijuana....who cares? She was growing it for personal use. Oh and I don't use the stuff.

Fraud happens too often and there will never be a dime repaid. This is part of the problem with SS, medicare etc. Snake021: The mother probably did not even have enough for the daughter to inherit so there would not be anything going to the government.

Yet if the mother had left that amount of money to the daughter, the government would have taken some of it, and nobody bats an eye. And meanwhile, more states(government) are legalizing marijuana.
