Where is these new jobs you speak of? Not in the Warren school system. The new jobs are given to retired teachers instead of a young person trying to make best of their 4 years of collage. Mr Gibbs must have his 3rd full time job office at the Marietta Times.

johnson73's comments perfectly explain why the mid-Ohio valley leads the nation in creating new jobs. Personally, I'd rather read about innovation in the schools than burglers with bad backs, SS scams, another drug arrest, etc. And kudos to Mr. King and Mr. Maifield for going the extra mile!

Could we please go one day without seeing something about Warren schools in the paper. I know Mr. Gibbs is trying to mend fences and kiss butts, but shoving the school system in our faces every day isn’t the way to do it. How much is this little playtime class costing the taxpayers? Is a hobby class after school really needed when they can’t afford to pay a bus driver? Bet they use more electric in this one extra class then most people homes use all day.
