Oh, and if the uninitiated looks at Africentric's schedule, you'll find a nice assortment of losses, making them look quite normal....just don't check on the DIVISION of the schools they lose to. Like any good coach and AD, they sprinkle their D-III schedule with some nice D-I opponents, since you're only gonna improve if you find opposition you can't beat the crap out ridiculous.

From the Dispatch, regarding Africentric's Victory over Archbold:...."Archbold (25-1) could not cope with 6-foot-2 Cincinnati recruit Marley Hill and junior Ayrielle Stith on the inside and ballhawking guards such as Harley, Kyra Jones, Darianne Seward and Alexis Parks on the outside. I'm not even from Fort Frye, but it would be refreshing if the Marietta Times could do an investigative bit on why the state tourney gurus can possibly pretend that Africentric is some kind of "public school" in any sense of the word.....this school "recruits" from all over the state for its girls basketball program, and the idea of Fort Frye having to go through this buzzsaw all the time is confounding to say the least. If I were the coach, after the tournament, I'd call up the other "loser" that meets Africentric in the final and ask for a "scrimmage", just for fun, if you get my drift....maybe make some homemade trophies for the winner of the "scrimm

First comment! LOL. What a great win for FF though. Has to be a proud moment for Dan Liedtke as he's able to watch his daughters excel on the court. I hope The Times is sending someone to cover this game Thursday, (preferably Mr. Holland) because I'm sure my boss won't let me have the day off to see this!
