The River Trail is so nice. I walked part of it last Sunday and really enjoyed it. There were all kinds of people out walking, biking and jogging. The old, young and of course lots of dogs! It is a great asset for Marietta.

the remaining $61,824.42 is coming from the streets department account meant for streets, highways, sidewalks and curbs, according to Lambert.

so a path used by a Few is more important than our streets and highways used by Many??...glad to see they have their Priorities in the right place!!...

Ultimately I agree with Mr. Sheng when he said "If people are going to use it frequently, then the money was spent wisely and it was worth it.

This project should have been put on hold . Another waste we don't need right now . $230,244.42 Marietta has to spend on this sure would look better spent in the street fund on some streets or alleys . If it was built to drive on we could use it for bypass while the Pike , 7th and Greene st. intersection project is under way. Stop the madness.
