Maybe we should have a Sunshine law for congress. So the theives cant vote behind closed doors.

Any public office that gets any taxpayer money has to comply even non profits..if you ask for records and they don't give them or if you think they are false theres a procedure to remedy that...easy to look up too.

Open I do not think so. All public employes are paid by tax dollars and are not open records. Example Marietta police dept they have one open record and another secret record that is not. And you can not get it under court order or other wise, hiding the fact they should not fit to be in the position at all.

There are some people who are combing the records though just because they are busy-bodies and like to prey on their neighbors, so they can let everyone know at the summer bbq's which neighbors are deliquent on taxes, who is in foreclosure, divorce happenings, etc. I find these Trolls to be over the top disgusting.

The Ohio Recorders site has been a big help but i do think it's a little much that you can see peoples loan amts. and agreements on their propertys. Glad the Commissioners finally got their site up... and i see they had Sunshine Law training in Dec.....something all offices need.
