Beating two TVC teams in the last week, Ohio high school basketball must be really weak this year. Did the lower enrollment numbers put Warren in a easier division this year?

Hey Johnson, I can't figure out if you're trying to be funny or if you're just stupid. Which is it?

I dont usually read these comments because the people that make them are so stupid about the things they say. Do you people have nothing better to do than criticize children. We all should be very proud of what they are accomplishing. This is south east Ohio and we may make it to the state tournament. This shows that we do have something here. Way to go Warren and Fort Frye. Proud of you

Gerber, I completely agree with you. The kids in the programs you mentioned have accomplished more than many thought possible. My issue is with individuals (like Johnson) who think that being snide and sarcastic is being humorous or clever. He/she is neither.

Just saying Warren should have beat both teames with ease.Must just be a easy year if both Warren and Athens made it to the finals. I'm sure they will get stomped when they play a team outside our area.

Maddox made an interesting comment about "the only time French has fouls called on him is at tournament time"? Hmmm. Wonder why? Warren plays..I'll call it "very agressive" and during regular season play are accustomed to getting away with fouls. That's why 2,000 fans booed the refs after the 1st half, then the refs eased up on the Warriors during the 2nd half. I have seen many, many Warren games over the years and have seen opposing players shoved into the wall and even giving an opponant a concusson with no foul called.

begame: and of course because you have seen many Warren games through the years, this team MUST be the same one you've seen in the past. Did you even see the game last night to render an opinion about the fans or is this another typical spewing by someone who thinks that because they have an opinion based on their own selective, subjective evaluation of a topic, it must be accepted as fact? (accustomed to getting away with fouls? The refs eased up in the 2nd half? no fouls called when giving an opponent a concussion). Grow up!

I did see the game and I meant to put 1,000 fans, which is probably over estimated. This year's team, previous years..no difference in their style of play.
