asknot & truthandbelieve - You can hold fire on each other about the "reproduction" suggestions. My understanding is, he was neither child's 'father' and had been the mother's boyfriend for ONLY ONE MONTH. That kinda put's a prospective on the 'twisted' aspect of it, dosen't it? Some of the cockroaches had propably been there longer than he had!

Nice mugshot. What a piece of gutter trash. Truly revolting story to read. Awful on so many levels.

Asknot, you might want to take a biology class. There is no age limit on men producing children...

Wow, I can't believe the comments. Very sad what happened to this child and hopefully the courts will punish this man. But to attack this mother, really. She was working and if she didn't work, you would be calling her a lazy welfare queen. I don't know her or her family, but I will hold judgement on her because it is not my place to judge somebody. My deepest sympathy to this family for the loss of a child.

What is a 22 year-old, unrelated, MALE, care-giver doing undressing a 1 year-old boy and a 3 year-old girl and putting them in a bath to begin with? Now I realize he MAY have been using the bath as a distraction for the children, that he MAY have not wanted to be watching to begin with, but the thought of HIM putting them into a bath SEEMS twisted to me.

Lock him up and throw away the key.Maybe someone ought to drown him .What kind of a mother would leave their child with their live-in boyfriend.. I agree she ought to be brought up on charges also. She probably bought him the beer for babysitting.

Charges should also be filed against the mother (biological)who is also responsible for the safety of the child as well.

The article does not say what time the mother left for work. Was she aware that he was drinking? Yes, he was responsible for the childrens' welfare and used poor judgement. And as usual, it is the children who suffer for it. What a tragedy.

Just sitting around on a Monday afternoon, babysitting young children and drinking beer. This guy should've been at work. A job could have saved this child's life. I hope the other child mentioned is in a safe place now at least.

All may be true, but there is still a precious little boy dead, whose life probably would have produced far more in this world than the individual whose lifestyle cause the little boys death. Grace, mercy and peace to the mother, who will have to life the rest of her life feeling, "if I had only ___."

Unfortunately there are plenty more like this guy in society. There is a huge difference between being a responsible parent and a breeder.

He is a piece of crap and deserves every bad thing that comes to him. His first mistake was leaving that boy alone in the bathroom, his second mistake was waiting for over an hour to call 911. He shouldn't be allowed around children for the rest of is life.
