Something is very odd about this story. First, the incident happened over a month ago and is reported today. No word as to where he was at in Florida, who he was vacationing with or who got him to the hospital. He is still in Florida under observation but does is not say if any family members or friends are with him. Varner only hears about it 2 weeks after the fact. Someone who has spent so much time in the public eye and this report with vague details is just a little odd.

Since Charlie is no longer a congressman, it is nobody's business who, what, where and when. Speedy recovery Charlie!!

This was reported in the Cleveland Plain Dealer back in February. A little slow, Marietta Times?

@BeRight....apparently your only source of news is MT. This was reported on Feb 26. Contact your Congressmen Bill Johnson he knew about Charlie's illness. By Henry J. Gomez, Plain Dealer Politics Writer on February 26, 2013 at 7:20 PM, updated February 26, 2013 at 8:02 PM On Twitter, Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern offered "thoughts and prayers" for Wilson, whom he called a "strong voice for eastern and southeastern Ohio."

Johnson, of Marietta, offered well-wishes from him and his wife in an emailed statement.

"LeeAnn and I offer our thoughts and prayers to Charlie and his family at this time and hope that he makes a full and speedy recovery," Johnson said.

Why would I search the Plain Dealer for info on Charlie Wilson? I think my local paper would have news on a former rep for this area. Should I source the Washington Post for news on Mayor Mathews?

News 30 days old showing up on the front page of the MT is still odd.

I wonder if his doctors and nurses let him know how they feel about Obamacare. All I have heard is complaints from them in this area. Hope they let him know their opinions since he avoided his constituents when he voted for it. Hope he recovers but stays in Florida.
