Don’t think you will ever hear something like “ I am going to turn my life around and not go to jail again because the food s u c k s” .

Somehow I doubt the claim that the staff eats that stuff too. All I have ever heard of the food there is that it's inedible.

This story makes it sound like jail food is fine dining. How could they have "McRibs?" I'm thinking that word is copyrighted by the Clown!

i've never had the.. oppertunity.. to go to jail. however, i've heard nothing but terrible things about the food. they practically starve you and half of the food isnt even edible. such as the green hotdogs. you can say what you want about what they deserve, but not everyone in there is guilty. not everyone in there is a lowlife drug addict (though most are). alot of those people have paid into the system too. i doubt the staff actually eats the food served at jail. i've gone in and smelled pizza few times.

Commercial food really doesn't cost that much if you break down the food cost it's only about $3.00 a day to feed an inmate. The real cost is all the guards to make sure that inmates stay and eats the food.

Pizzaburgers ? Seriously? The only thing these criminals should be getting is really bad grade bolonga and peanut butter on moldy bread. I wonder how much meals at the jail costs the taxpayers.
