For the strength she has shown fighting back against the very difficult circumstances into which she was thrust, for her undying loyalty to a fallen comrade, for her continued charitable community service, for guarding the truth, for standing tall despite the idle musings of Monday morning critics, for being our soldier who gave her all --- she is a true hero and we wish her the best.

Miss Lynch, I want to thank you for serving our country, for keeping people like me free and for keeping war away from U.S. shores. I hope the rest of your life will be peaceful and that whatever battles you still face will be conquerable. You're a hero! Thank you!
