Regardless of this case, the fact of Dewine sending his personal favorite prosecutors in these high profile cases is backwards. Lawyers more than 50 miles from the big cities are worthless and overwhelmed and are allowing counties to run anything through for their small town politics. If anything he needs to send defense lawyers and also prosecutors who will investigate all the corruption that has acted out of reach of the state.

It's a difficult thing for everyone involved. Our prayers need to go out to the families. His parents are wonderful people and need prayers and support from the community. Even at this point I'm not sure what the truth really is; none of us were in the courtroom and saw what evidence was presented. I just hope to God the right decision was made.

I always assumed he did it and admitted to it. Never made sense to me though or anyone else who knew him. He seemed about the straightest arrow around. Wonder what evidence there was beside his word against hers?

I agree asknot ,It would an awful thing in any case but ,it's even worse because this girl was a relative and it started at age 10! Awful plus creepy, evidently the jury agreed.
