I was going to write more in my original post but I was on my cell phone. Here is some more information :You can setup cameras like these to automatically track down someone and follow their movements for years. The cameras are equipped with GPS,cell phone ping ,video to TXT,speech to TXT ,face recognition, and license plate recognition. Some of these cameras have advanced thermal imaging that can do face recognition even if your wearing a mask.

Mr. Walters noted "the Mid-Ohio Valley's industries could be considered potential terrorist targets."

I understand the need for camera surveillance on certain industries, gas storage systems, chemical plants, and dams as part of Homeland Security.

Walters said "four high-tech cameras ... would likely be located on the I-77 bridge and Washington Street Bridge, at the Lafayette Hotel, and somewhere near the Ohio River along Ohio 7".

What industries are being protected at these locations? I can see protecting the I-77 bridge and the SR 7 bridge, but industries? There are none.

I hope Council exercises caution.

I know a great deal about security camera systems. Its really scary the way they can track anyone any where from just a face photo. The system can lock on to you and pass you on from camera to camera following you where ever you go.

We don't need cameras on the river, this is just another attempt to camerize America and it's people. Go ahead put those cameras up, I hope someone tears them down.
