Not only do we have connections on both sides of this, I also have a family member that, ironically came upon the accident.. They were like the 2nd or 3rd person at the scene. They helped get the little girls out of their vehicle and also spent time consoling the young male driver, who was distraught at the horror of it all. I didn't personally know Jodi, but from what I've heard about her and her compassionate love for kids, she would not want this young man treated unfairly... I think she would rather see people hugging him and not hating him... btw, I've never met the young man either. Also, 22 yrs ago my husband was hit head on by another driver. The young 14 boy that was our best friends son, was killed instantly in the accident. My husband was NOT at fault. I can honestly say that none of us involved wanted anything bad to happen to the man, who fell asleep at the wheel and took the life of the young boy. The legal steps will need to be followed, let's not forgelove & forgiv

Grandma, very well said!! I am so sorry for the family of Mrs.Bice!! I can't imagine the pain they are going through. I just don't like people jumping the gun when all the facts arent yet available. Many rumors are circulating, as in most cases like this, and many just arent true.

whistlingdixie... Have you considered the fact at all that this young boy, although at fault, did not get in his truck and intentionally set out to kill someone that day? There isn't anyone out there that at some point in their life, in a moment of carelessness, made a mistake while driving that could have led to the death or injury of themselves or someone else... I know people from both sides of this tragic accident and have heard feedback from both sides. This young man is very emotionally traumatized by everything that happened, he's just a kid himself and he fully understands the pain his actions have caused. He will absolutely have to suffer the consequences and I'm sure he will do so willingly... any legal actions that may be imposed on him will be minor compared to the guilt he will be living with for the rest of his life...

I feel much sorrow for the family of Mrs. Bice. I also would like to say the young man was tested for drugs and alcohol at his own request. Results were negitive for either.
