God Bless the Barker family for taking in the child in need and raising her as their own. She is a very lucky young lady to have you in her life. I agree with blessing4u she wouldn't be where she is today if it wasn't for you. God Bless

I knew Natashia when she was an infant. It is a blessing to have someone step in like the Barber family did and love this little girl and see past all her disabilities and know with help she could possibly be more than she was. You are very special people. I had often wondered what had happen to her and it touches my heart to see she is still alive and thriving. Bless you and your family for taking her in and loving her. She needed you when she came to you and I know in my heart of hearts that because of your love that is why she is still here today. God bless you and your family.

I remember Natashia back when I was in xray school. That was 13 yrs ago. I always loved to see her and her mom was always so upbeat and sweet. I have often though of her over the years. I'm so glad to see she is still doing well.

Nice to see an uplifting story in the Times. These people are truly amazing to take in a special needs child such as this. My hat is off to them and I will keep them in my prayers.
