I wonder if the School Board would be interested to know that Mr. Duckworth installed illegal gambling machines in several businesses around town and then had to go and try to scramble to remove them when businesses were getting busted....the whole time knowing that they were illegal and lying to these businesses and not backing them up when it all came down.

kangaroo the time the machines were iffy.

You know that of course.

Mr. Duckworth will make a fine addition to the Marietta program as it has been at an all time low.

Can only go up from where it is.

I am sure you know that too.

This man is a square shooter; is an old time coach that will keep his staff in line, discipline the players as needed, and produce a winning team.

I'd BET on it; how bout you. Let's say a quarter?????????

First of all, as soon as he found out they were illegal he removed them. Secondly, he is going to tick some people off. He is hard core. Perhaps he will get MHS back into a money making program. Sounds like Kangaroos kid didn't play as much as Daddy wanted. Welcome to the Duck Dynasty.

One disagreement on all blogs. Roo....

Duck is a great guy. How could anyone disagree with this appointment.

Always has kids and their well-being in mind.

From what I have seen of Mr. Duckworth, he is an excellent coach and makes the kids "toe the line". His biggest negative is his yelling at players and refs during the games. With that said, anything would be a vast improvement over what the departing "coach". Mr. D will get results with whatever talent (or lack of) that comes his way.
