I do feel sorry for the vendors who lost their stuff, but any sound business-person would either insure the stuff or know the risk of keeping it in a place you do not own.

WildsKitKat: Bummer. Just want to let you know that we go down to the market all the time and the best part of the whole deal is just talking to you vendors.Great Folks! (we always buy something from someone. I hope we had spent money with you)

This sounds more like a flea market then a farmers market. A farmers market is where farmers bring their produce to sell, not nick nacks and craft items.

RiverRat: the produce vendors are outside. No reason the other vendors can't be outside also. This whole thing used to be under a bridge. the back parking lot behind the Amory is perfect.

Someone spends way to much time logging in and out just to hit the agree and disagree button!

There is not enought parking at the armory. Not to mention the vendors trucks that many of them pull up and open their tailgates and set up pop up canopies. It would not work for the full market that you typically see on a Saturday.

Sorry for the loss that all the vendors experienced. Under the grandstand sounds like a good idea. Since the same rent can't be charged this impacts the Fair Board as well.

Sounds like? If you had ever visited the market you would see that farmers DO sell their produce, meats, cheese, etc. Crafts items are a bonus
