Blame all this on the obama regime. What he's trying to do is hopefully gain resentment against Repubs because they won't go along with his PHONY budget increases. So he is cutting things he knows will p*ss people off in an effort to take over the House. Lord help us all if that happens. Could possibly lead to civil war.

We are not talking about cuts in current spending but cuts in the increases of spending.

We must never allow the demokrat traitors who are anti-Constitutionalists to control our Congress again!

Nothing is a better example of needless government growth and wasted taxpayer money than a control tower at a small airport. A pilot can land, take-off, and move around the airport without assistance and supervision as long as some other airplane or vehicle doesn't run into him. At very busy airports, there is so much traffic that pilots and ground vehicle drivers need to be supervised and coordinated for safety. Pike and Acme needs a traffic light. 6th and Scammel does not. Denver, Miami, and Pittsburg airports need control towers. Wheeling, Lewisburg, and Parkersburg do not. Save the money. Close the Parkersburg tower permanently.

This airport has lost its reason for being commercial some time ago. Commercial Flights were supported by corporate travelers to GE, DuPont and other plants in the area that just don’t allow their employees to travel much anymore. Citizen flights on scheduled routes such as what US Air used to run to Pittsburgh daily have dropped off to the point where an airline can’t make a profit. Bite the bullet and make it a private airport. Quit living in the past.
