the fees persay don't go to law enforcement but they get grants to target DUI's...and the grants come from the fees

I hold a Commercial Drivers License, and as such, I have to abide by the law the BAC level for me is 0.04, rather than the 0.08 currently law for noncommercial drivers. The 0.04 level applies to us whether we're driving a truck or our private auto. I still go out to restaurants regularly, I just enjoy my "Barley-pop's" when I get home.

The comments by the former counselor make a lot of sense. On the other hand it seems like Larry Mincks would put everyone in this county behind bars if he could.

The main goal of these people is to enslave us all through more laws. Even MADD is against it.

And these ridiculous commercials saying "buzzed driving is drunk driving" is BULL. Many people can get "buzzed" on just one beer and still be within the law.

Don't get me wrong. I am not against taking drunks off the road. I personally reported someone who was really drunk about a year ago and the police nabbed the little punk and took him to jail.

Well if its such a Deadly choice. Why don't they just make it Alcohol Illegal. Since it is one of the top deadliest drugs technically. Or better yet raise taxes so high it will deter people away. You don't hear of a pot smoker driving killing. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !

I am getting so tired of continually being pushed by this government. Leave the BAC limit alone.

Hate to burst your bubble but Law enforcement do not receive any of the money from OVI arrest or tickets.

Lowering the limit is nothing more than a legal maneuver to collect even more money by law enforcement, and the insurance companies. The lower the limit, the more money they collect...period.

Almost have to agree with Mr Whitby..if you can't go out to eat and have a couple a lot of people will stop and those places will soon be closed. And since Ohio passed the new ins. liability law making it almost double the amount they are estimating 60,000 more Ohioans will be driving with no insurance..think there are other factors to focus on first.
