This happened in the trailer, but I thought at one point there was a disturbance outside, and that neighbors say the place was loud and noisy . Are their any cameras either on 3rd street or this neighborhood near the trailer. If there are, could they review the coverage and see what time cars were seen leaving either area. Surely there has to be one or two cameras somewhere in the vicinity.

If you don't want to be arrested for murder then avoid situations such as having the deceased man's blood on your body.

Some of you seem so bent on this being a witch hunt that you are ignoring the fact that he had the man's blood on him.

The 3rd party owner of the home will probably be brought in as well and they will get to the bottom of what happened. If Mr. Blair was intoxicated as well that evening then it will be interesting piecing things together.

It sounds like a fight between 2 or 3 people that were under the influence. The murder charge is probably just because there is a dead man and no one will talk yet. It should end up with 1 or 2 involuntary manslaughter charges and a tampering with evidence charge.

Know some...don't like some...definitely don't like the way this town mentally convicts people because of their name or way of life thats generations in the past...only shows their ignorance and bias.

haught automatically had fingers pointed at him because he owned the trailer where the murder took place. blair had fingers pointed at him for residing at the trailer, and then being found with the victims blood. the b&e charge may be false because martin is an unreliable source. but there is definate reason for suspicion when it comes to the murder. if he's innocent, then hopefully it will come out in court. i dont think it has anything to do with his name or the fact that he goes to the bars downtown. having a past record for assault is sure not going to help his case, though.

The Fact Box should be titled Marietta Murders that Resulted in Convictions. How many murders have happened in Marietta and the surrounding County that have never resulted in even an arrest? I can think of a couple, even when the murderer was known to have committed the crime. And yet those in law enforcement and in the prosecutor's office at the time, chose to not pursue arrest.

I know nothing about the current case in this article so cannot speak to it.

@truth40 getting a lawyer is something you need to do, innocent or guilty. especially in this area where you are guilty until proven innocent. are you related to blair? you sure are sticking up for him an awful lot.. i'm sure haught was in on it, but the truth of the matter is this ira guy was found with the victims blood and wounds from a struggle where the victim had to fight for his life. if you can literally beat someone to death with your bare hands, who knows what else you'd be willing to do.

What a stupid criminal. He ought to be grateful that he did not enter my home. He would look quite different if he did. He would have been screaming for someone to call the police.
