Crandall , Is because most of the local addicts work for the cops and are paid with cash, drugs or a get out of jail free card for snitching on their friends. This woman and her boyfriend were from out of town so they had no one to snitch on so they will be used for headlines instead.

Why are drug sentences so wildly different in this town? How is it that someone charged with 4 felony drug counts, 1 of which was selling drugs within 1000 ft of a grade school and had a precious arrest the yr before that for making meth,(plus 3 drug arrests before that one!); gets only 90 days and served only 30 of them and is now free in the community again?! Is it because she was local and this woman is not?
