I do not dispute the fact that the occasion is one to celebrate and enjoy. But, I also think it is one that calls for reflection and thought too. Life throws us all kinds of situations every day. Some are good, some are bad and most are somewhere in between. In my experince, they all require a certain amount of grace. This motto is not a graceful representation of the students' outlook on their introduction to the world outside high school and beyond youth. Call it the teacher in me, but I would like nothing more than to help these students be more articulate about the message they want to convey about themselves. And, I think someone who should have been payong more attention and pffering guidance obviously was not.

Are you guys serious? I don't remember what my class motto was let alone last years graduating class. Let these kids have fun when it comes to THEIR time. They have faught their way through 13 years and now it's time for once in those years to cut lose and have fun. We should be excited for them. Congrats to the graduating Wildcat Class!

Agree bwc: what class advisors and/or administration allowed them to choose such a juvenile and low-class motto?

Class motto: "Party hard, rock and roll, we're the class you can't control."

Hmmmm... very distasteful, children who are now adults.
