SO much misdirected fear about 70! The soon-to-be 70-mph Ohio interstates account for about 1 traffic fatality a week, (sub)urban interstates another one, and all other roads about 18 deaths. Over a holiday weekend, it's 50-50 odds on having NO deaths on an interstate, although citations are tossed out like confetti.

So you all know, the Ohio State Patrol is NOT pleased with this. Where it use to be that they gave you 5 mph over the speed limit, i.e.; 70 in a 65 zone, that will no longer apply for the new 70 mph speed limit. You go 1 mile over the 70 mph speed limit and they will nail you.

This country is so funny when it comes to 'rules'- nothing will change with this.

If you are not going to do the speed limit stay out of the left lane.
