The article failed to mention that someone has been roaming the Norwood streets tearing off side mirrors. I agree, we need a Neighborhood Watch. Get these stealing, vandalizing thugs off the streets. Marietta Police Department, PLEASE patrol our neighborhoods.

These thieves never seem to be able to find my home or car. Maybe it is because they know their fate if confronted by me. I am no "do-gooder". They will be screaming for someone to call the police if I get a hold of them.

Old school v new school... Old school: Years ago thieves would check a car & if locked would move on to the next until they found one. They were looking to steal/joy ride. New school: Drug induced so they are stealing to sell. They will not move on, but smash glass to get at what folks leave in their car. That is new school. Old school did not leave their entire household in their car. New school leaves everything but the sink in their car. So old schoolers leave their cars unlocked b/c there is nothing to steal & they know these me.th heads will break glass. Lock your door & they will break glass to find nothing.

In the end, the criminal element gets away while the respcectable pays their way....

Form a Neighborhood Watch Group!! Now do you understand why people get a concealed carry permit??? As close as you are to the police, I would prefer extra assurance.

REALLY. . .people have to be told to lock their vehicles. In this day and age are people that stupid not to? Also did you know that most car insurance companies will not pay for items stolen from a vehicle if the vehicle was not locked in the first place?
