Man sentenced on weapons charge

A convicted felon found with marijuana and guns on his Vincent property was sentenced to 61 days in jail Wednesday in Washington County Common Pleas Court....

thegreek ,I agree with you, I don't want felons to have guns, that's not a waist of tax payer money. What is a waist of money is fling around every year trying to catch a few people doing what should be now and soon might be legal. It cost the tax payers how much for the cops to pay Rambo every year? How much was the fine? Seem like a loss to me.

I hardly consider a couple of aging boomers with a plant on their deck "drug people".

I'm torn on this one. On one hand , I don't want felons with guns, on the other hand this guy was caught growing marijuana by the helicopter fling over on the annual search that I believe is a huge waist of tax payer money and an even larger breach of our privacy.

Since marijuana cultivation was only a part time job, we need this man out so he can continue to be the primary bread winner. The guns aren't a big deal, and ' we wnt see him him back again' ?? Commit crime , do pass go , and keep on truckin. What exactly keeps convicted felons in jail for more than 61 days? its not illegal gun possession or cultivating drugs. You are right on in your comments Red and Go to school.
