Where was an announcement of this meeting given? It wasn't in this newspaper.

I have to wonder about officials who comment about the local citizens not showing up for a special meeting such as this. It implies citizens have a lack of concern, when the reality is that it's a lack of information via the City of Marietta administration. Instead of harassing local merchants about sidewalks, perhaps Mr. Hupp should be sure the public is informed about future Cytec meetings. A search of Cytec on the MT site shows the last mention of the company occurred in October 2012, except for several obituaries of former employees.

Marietta citizens want to be informed, want to be involved, want to help our fine little city become even better. But we can't do that if we aren't aware of these sorts of meetings. Did I miss the announcement somewhere?
