City may allow food vendors in parks, on sidewalks

Mobile food and beverage vendors may soon be able to peddle their wares in city parks and on the sidewalks immediately adjacent to their businesses....

Re: Permits. If $2000 to $3000 is all it takes to provide up-to-date software to clear up the confusion surrounding the permitting process, then get it. Enough already with obfuscation. I just don't get the need some people have to complicate things. KISS

There is clear need for legit public restrooms downtown- especially if more concessions happen- which should. Pretty sure The Lafayette is tired of the extra traffic- maybe I'm wrong tho.

Does this "new" idea include vendors on the downtown sidewalks? Might as well get it right while you are working on it....let 'em set up and sell their hotdogs and popcorn. Poor Vuk, I think he's met his match- Kalter can "out annoy" them all.
