Yes asknot, the KISS method should be employed when possible. There is a councilman who's always asking why or what if, and holds up progress. He's stuck in Erik Ericson's "Stages of Development", age 3-4, in which the child asks why all the time.

I have to say I agree with Mr. Haney on this. I don't want to see food and beverages being sold outside of every store. I think that a license to sell or serve food and beverages outside of a store should be limited to food establishments. What does the Health Department have to say about this?

It's one thing for a local shop to set out antiques for sale, or a rack of clothing, but quite another for that same shop to serve tea and crumpets to passersby.

Big Napper, Mr. Obama isn't going to outlaw coal, but you make a good point. What companies use the tracks in question? Is it just the AEP plant that is set to close? The city should not have spent $23K on something that is unnecessary. BTW, that crossing is atrocious.

When Obama outlaws coal we won't be using those tracks anymore huh? But isn't it nice council spending our tax dollars to repair private business access across state route too bad they can't afford to repair their own streets and cross walk blunders on front street.

Dave Haney has lost my respect from his involvement with the CRG and John Lehman. He also never made a public comment on the Armory nor did the CRG. This was very weak on his and the CRG group. Let Haney babble and tell him to move on.
