If it isn't used, and won't be used in the future, then it's probably not being properly maintained. If it's not properly maintained, then it's a safety hazard. Will you people still defend it when it falls onto a passing car and kills the children in the back seat? Good grief, tear it down, already.

If it's not safe, then it needs some attention - removed or fixed. Oh and... Don't just stand there, let's get to it. Strike a pose,there's nothing to it.

This article should bring some interesting comments. I guess the main question, is it structurally sound? Is it useable? How much of the tax payers dollars would be used to tear it down? How many accidents does the bridge cause on a yearly basis?
