So, despite the current administration's (the mayor, safety-service director, and development director) desire to set up roadblocks for the completion of the Armory Project, the ODOT officials were able to see clearly what the problem is. The administration has sworn to do everything possible to see the project fail. Their passive aggressive attitudes need checked at the door. This isn't a war pitting one side against the other, yet the administration seems to have turned it into one. It takes a team effort to keep Marietta working toward the future. And with this administration, public and private efforts are thwarted for personal reasons. These people need to grow up. And they also need to be held accountable for their recent actions.

Tessie.. I have been caught rooting for you recently with a few of your coherent thoughts, but you are just wrong on this one. I know based on previous comments you can't stand those fellows, but the armory has been suffering over the years. And all of sudden granting agencies are allowing the city to keep money, doors, windows, steps, lights, and a really beautiful roof is on the building. Based on the Times' own reporting, none of it more than likely would have happened, if not for the work of the current administration.

I will even entertain those that argue the wisdom in spending money on the ole thing in the first place, but since the city had the grant dollars, might as well do something with those dollars. The guys you mention did do something that no one else has managed to do previously... They realized the impossible & got something from nothing. They salvaged alot of dissapearing dollars. He.ll, now yo can have photos there. That ribbon is gone.
