-"Buck" is a "***** of a good guy". If you still believe that than I must question your judge of character and what kind of person you really are. By the way "Buck" was my OPOTA instructor also.

REG337 you should do a little more homework on Mr Copen. Why is he no longer teaching OPOTA at WSCC? Why was there no mention of the drugs in the case in the article? Why does WSCC have a restraining order against him? Why did he believe this restraining order did not apply to him? Why at WSCC did he erase all personal files from college computers? Why did he survive the motorcycle crash and his wife did not? How many departments has Mr Copen sued throughout his career? Why has he lost his home to foreclosure and not lose his job? Why did he assault his neighbor and not lose his job? How does he continue to be a commissioned officer in Lowell with no continuing training? How does he believe its ok for a subordinate officer to write a ticket based on what Mr Copen saw knowing the subordinate was not even present during the violation? Mr copen is very good at portraying an image but that is all he is. Find the honest truthful answers to these questions and then tell me that "Buck&q

this man was my instructor at the wscc police academy from 2010-2011. having known the man for as little as I did I know he was an honest man very straight forward. I know he lost wife a few years back and was going through a lot, the stinging in his neck was because he has a surgically repaired one. I would vouch for Buck any day, I hope he sues those young punks and justice is served. anyone who was in the police academy knows he was a*****of a good guy. also the article neglects to mention he is a marine corp veteran.

Omg, this guy is a lunatic. Not to mention his.sparatic outbursts, stupid accusations of local law enforcement, a local institution also has a restraining order against him, in which the past he has broken and was also arrested. If my memory serves me, he was also charged for assulting his neighbor at some point in the last few years as well. There are other situations as well. In the past I had to work with him, he has absolutely no respect for authority or policy. He had become verbally abusive towards myself and many others. Trust me, anyone who does a little research can find this info. He doesn't stand a chance in this case.

I see he has filed suit against another department. Seems this is how he gets his paycheck. Just because he is current and former law enforcement does not mean he can break the law. At least that is the way it is suppose to work.
