It isn't about the FF! K doesn't care one bit about them. It is about him, himself, & his run for the City. He tried before & was thumped. Now his is gearing up again. Watch & see. If you continue to believe he cares about FF, citizens, & the animals, then I have valuable land in the 1st ward to sell you.

Bashing elected officials behind anonymous monikers is a common practice on this website.

None of these mental midgets would ever run for any elective office because they'd be exposed for the vacuous mental midgets they are.

Kalter is a walking red "X". He trashes his property and any where he sets foot in. The trash seen along the alley by sixth and hart streets, are a new area for him to trash. If I were a man, I would hang my head in shame to have my wife supporting me.

City needs to get the new property codes in place then clean up the city. The city should clean up all the properties then bill the property owners if they won't do it.Columbus will charge you $300 to cut your grass or pick up trash out of your yard.

Smokehouse said, "Maybe Kalter should ...... quit trying to run the city". Last I checked, Mr. Kalter was elected to help do just that. Say what you want about Roger, but he puts 110% into his job as a councilman. He always carries his share and more, unlike a couple of the others, and unlike many other city employees.

Some of you would be wise to learn to give of yourself and your energy as Roger does on a regular basis.

Democratically governing for 'all' in such a small area with so many special interests is a near impossible task....

Safety is always an issue. Another more subtle issue is that buildings and properties which are neglected and left to run down give a picture to outsiders as the beginning of a blighted community. We get used to it because we live here but if you look at this from a visitor point of view, the picture is not so rosy.

Maybe Kalter should pay more attention to his own property and quit trying to run the city. He just wants his name in the newspaper. He should clean his self up,park his bicycle and get a job so his wife doesn't have to support him.

They are probably saving money on buying more x's by giving the emergency responders a heads up that any green and orange rental signs that may or may not say M*&%$ Group mean danger as well.

How about a big red X on Kalter's back - he is a danger to our citizens! Oh yeah, let's follow Cambridge's model and fine the owners of these buildings. Have you been to downtown Cambridge ? Last I looked it is not a booming place.

Seriously? I'm smh by who the new owner is that purchased the building and is renovating it. figured he'd worn out his welcome here in town.

"Owners of those properties should either fix it or sell it," Kalter said. And if they do neither, we will FINE them every year. Governments answer to everything, charge those rich property owners more money.

VERY unfortunate that this is only for commercial buildings..just think how colorful the town would be if it were also for privately owned rentals.
