Yes it is a great event and I will attend today between the storms. But, no one has answered my question about whether the Obsession variety of corn that is being used is a GMO by Monsanto (or any other) or not. I like to know what I'm eating.

I've answered my own question and changed my mind about eating corn today. I will still attend but I'll stick with a drink and sandwich, thanks. Obsession II is the sweet corn being sold at the Corn Festival. It is a GM by Monsanto. Look it up for more information. Especially see the Canadian four month studies.

Tessie: Monsanto is a bad word...double-edged sword...I have three sisters that are vegans...I myself really don't worry. Life is too short and there is pretty much zero we can do about most 'big' concerns. Men w. suits still holds true.

The corn is 'obsession one' a non gmo corn.

I know it was me who purchased it.

Obsession two is gmo and we did not purchase or plant any of it.

Sweetcorn 54, if that is the case that this is Obsession corn and not Obsession II, then it should be made very clear to the public what type it is. Consumers are concerned about what they're eating, especially in light of the chemically engineered corn creeping into nearly every food that is made of corn.
