Well folks we've been going about this funeral thing all the wrong way, instead of paying thousands of dollars here, take them to Florida, choose a back yard, or use a family member's, (probably a better idea)-->grab a shovel-->dig a hole-->cover it back up-->maybe a little flower garden to cover up your secret..then viola--> totally complete and cheap, savings of over $6000.00. What a concept. No charges for the crime? Even better!!(total sarcasm).

She buried her mother in the backyard!?! How? She did this all by herself? Dug up a hole with a shovel and drug mom out to it? Sounds like a two person job to me. With this couple I'd call an autopsy to see how poor mom died. Poor lady, she deserved better.

What is the moral of the story? Oh, don't steal benefits for 15 years, don't bury your parent in the back yard, and alas, don't grow weed in your home. Your right sir! None of the above was of your knowledge or doing....

I believe the actions of illegal harvesting of weed, the theft of benefits, and the burying of a loved one in the backyard sent him to prison, not an 'illegal' search.

personally, i do not understand why he served 8 months for cultivating marijuana, and she received a total of 7 for the same offense AND stealing gov money for 15 yrs.. but i like how the police covered up their mistakes by saying, 'well you would've gotten in trouble either way.' atleast they're paying it back!

"She served six months in prison on a fourth-degree felony cultivation charge and is currently about halfway into a 30-day sentence she received on a federal charge of theft of government money."

6 months for growing. And only 30 days for stealing government money for YEARS!
