"CSX, which owns the local railroad tracks, announced Wednesday it will upgrade the crossing, which jolts motorists passing over it unless they slow down" BALOGNA !!!!!!!

I cross this crossing twice a day and your crossing is much smoother if you cross it at speed. PLUS there is much less chance of being rear-ended.

I really have to laugh though when I see people in 4x4 trucks crawling across this crossing. You're in a truck for heavens sake!

But doesn't slowing down when going over any rough road give you less chance of damaging your car??...I'll continue to slow down when driving on rough road, so watch for my brake lights ;)

I was watchng Mythbusters one night and they did a episode on if your ride is smooother on a rough road if you go fast or if you go slow. If they fix the track we won't have to worry about how that show ended.
