If Kalter wants to burden the whole county with bike trails let him pay for them and do the maintenance. He doesn't have any other job.

There sure are a bunch of homes for sale in Devola due to the water and sewer project costing homeowners $20,000 each.

Here's hoping that with the proposed sewer project and installation of a water plant, the voters of Devola are NOT asked to supply money toward a bike path so a few can enjoy a ride on a road that is already congested with walkers and speeding soccer Moms.

The township needs to spend what little money they have on maintaining the roads and streets that already exist. No need to take on new expenses any time soon.

We are already taxed to death on necessities; please no new taxes.

If the city government wants a bike trail to Devola, let them foot the bill.

Better yet, go toward Reno.

Would be nice if they posted a map of the trail on here. So that everyone could see where the trail is slated to go not just the people who are able to attend the meeting.

What the heck is Washington County Commissioner Ron Feathers thinking!!!!!! You can’t worry about how to maintain it, you just get grants and build the darn thing. Then you beg volunteers to adopt a section or two and bingo!! It not his money anyway.

What's the hold up on the trail from 4th to Jefferson ? Spend too much on the drive ways on Wayne and S. Seventh? Or did the Borsma Property take too much$$$$$$$$?

Good sidewalks & trails are great for any & every community! Modern life needs more porch & sidewalk face-to-face time to balance all the e-interactions.
