I hope in my post that I didn't indicate that Wei Sheng's venture is a delusion of self-importance because it isn't, although the fund-raising event may have been a little premature. I think it's a potentially good idea to build the adventure park. It just needs to be pulled together and organized to present to the public in a better light.

The only thing Robbie Knievel can do well is bar hop

I am glad it fell through. He is an admitted loser drunk. I mean come on, is that the best we can do. Why not opt for wholesome family entertainment. I think we can do much better than this chalked liver alcoholic.

Forget Robbie Knievel, he's a drunk, and how who he stay sober enough to jump.if it goes next summer, keep the Wallenda man, he seems to be on the level. I hope that Outdoor heaven does work out , seems like it would be a plus in a town that needs the money. It does seem people want it too fail, which is sad.

His last visit to Marietta was last weekend. He was at a local club, and extremely intoxicated. He tried to pick my wife up, she said that his "handler" said Robbie is waiting outside for you. She told him that he could keep on waiting.

I'm guessing this could be due to the fact that he just got a DUI at the Sturgis rally out west. He rampaged through an RV park in his RV, hitting a couple RV's in the process. Yea, this event is never happening. Dude hasn't jumped in forever

And so, in the words of Shakespeare, this was "Much Ado About Nothing"; more pipe-dreams; more shared delusions about importance. Kind of sad really.

Not surprised at all!

I give a huge amount of credit to Mr.Wei Sheng. Keep working on all the details for next summer. I happen to believe you bit off more than you could chew. Pyro permits, drink permits, two states, a motorcycle stunt, a tight rope stunt, a wobbly stick stunt, & everything else you were trying to stuff into this event set to roll in forty days... Yes, forty short days. So if delaying it for nine months gets that national coverage plus more bucks for your grand plan, then so be it!! My family will be waiting to witness history.

To the 'downers' in this valley, booooo on you. Get behind this guy & put our MOV on the map & in history books.

Think of Edison & all of his failures at his many inventions & patents when thinking of trying to assemble this event.. Mr.Wei Sheng has nothing to be ashamed of, & everything to look forward to in bringing this to fruition

It would be neat combined with the River Roar. Honestly, I just don't see the event ever happening. It was a nice thought...

Sheng again states that no taxpayer monies will be spent on this event...I'm not so sure about this statement...police, emergency personal, security etc, who pays for this??..any way hope it all works out in the end...

Looking at it from a professional rescuer and rescue diver point of view....of course Robbie would make history....he'd be the first drowning victim from drunk driving a motorcycle into the Ohio River....Robbie himself said he drinks when he is doing his stunts...I can't imagine anyone in authority in their right mind would allow this stunt to happen knowing this. If he were sober I might have a different opinion....but all I see are the risks of a drunk, a motorcycle, a jump, and a lot of water...a bad combination.

Mr.Wei Sheng will always live in the shadow of his mother and that can't be easy. I know he wants to be important but he needs to slow down start out small and build up.

I did not see being able to put such a plan together in such a ahort time frame. Hope it works out for next year but a year is a long time anything can happen. Maybe it will maybe not just have to wait and see.

This is still a neat idea. I hope it still happens. Maybe in conjunction with Roar or some other downtown event. October in Marietta can be a jerk weather wise.
