belpremommy, you need to keep up with whats going on in the school systems. They are being forced to teach Common Core and the teachers have already said they can't teach it. How can a school not teach what is required by the state but yet teach college classes. They need to get the basics taught and right now it's not getting done.

I agree. I would prefer to see Warren focusing on the K-12 curriculum and adequately preparing students for university or post-secondary technical education. This initiave, while a noble and needed one too, is still putting the cart before the horse when yuo look at statistics on how many Warren students pursue post-secondary education AND complete it. What about IB or AP curricula? They straddle both and are accepted/recognized worldwide...
