Tessie, Here's a novel concept, how many folks leave their job to have lunch elsewhere? Many! How many of these folks are rushed? Many! It sounds as if more time would help the students and hopefully the school considers doing so. Its a great concept and a luxury to the students who earn it.

Well I wish they had open lunch when I was in school. It would have been much more comfortable catching a buzz in my car than sneaking out into the woods in the valley, or behind the band room.

Here's a novel concept: It takes less than 5 minutes to make a nutritious meal in the morning to take with you to school. You (& your parents) will save money, you'll get nutritious food, you'll be less likely to eat high calorie food (and be less likely to be fat), you won't burn gas, you won't contribute to traffic problems.

Open lunch hours (42 minutes) are foolish, unless the student is walking home for lunch.

I'm curious how MHS monitors AAA club students leaving for lunch. It has always been a JR and SR privilege but never been monitored(in past years)

What! Belpre doesn't have an open lunch policy? Either the administration is deaf, dumb and blind or ignoring it, because I see tons of teens in the fast food places in Belpre during lunchtime.
